This page covers all endpoints that are available as a part of the open Zune web API (with no authentication required). The specific implementation and usage with the Zune Data Viewer library is described separately for each endpoint.

User

These endpoints retrieve information about a Zune/Xbox Live user that is using Zune services.

Endpoint Name	Description
User Profile	Retrieve general profile information.
Badges	Retrieve the badges assigned to a specific user based on his activity.
Favorite Tracks	Retrieve the list of tracks marked as favorite in the Zune client.
Most Played Artists & Tracks	Retrieve the list of most played artists and tracks.
Most Recent Tracks	Retrieve the list of most recently played tracks.

Movies

These endpoints retrieve information related to movies, available in the Zune Marketplace.

Endpoint Name	Description
Movie Information	Retrieves information related to a specific movie.
Movie Poster	Retrieves the poster (primary image) for the movie specified through the ID.

Music

These endpoints retrieve information related to music, available in the Zune Marketplace.

Top Zune Tracks	Retrieves the list of top Zune tracks.
Top Zune Music Videos	Retrieves the list of top Zune music videos.
Top Zune Albums	Retrieves the list of top Zune albums.

Genres	Retrieves the list of genres in the Zune Marketplace.
Top Zune Playlists	Retrieves the list of top playlists in the Zune Marketplace.
Features	Retrieves featured content in the Zune Marketplace.

Applications

These endpoints retrieve information related to applications available for Zune HD and Windows Phone in the Zune Marketplace.
